Joseph Chamberlain is a Yankton Sioux from South Dakota.  He is a self-taught artist who portrays the traditions and spiritual aspect of plains Indian people with his one-of-a-kind paintings in water color, colored pencil, acrylic and pen and ink.  Chamberlain paints with the hope that he may bring some of the joy and knowledge of Indian ways to others.
